FLAMER / NOTES

Let the idea help. Keep the voice yours.

An AI suggestion can get you past the blank text box. The last edit is yours. Your message should sound like something you could comfortably say out loud.

Use your spoken vocabulary

If you wouldn't say “an enchanting evening” over coffee, don't send it in a message. Replace formal wording with the words you actually use. Keep the sentence as short as it needs to be.

Remove invented details

Don't claim a hobby, a favourite place, or a personal story just because it makes a line work. Swap it for something true or choose another suggestion.

Suggested: “As a fellow marathon runner, I'd love to compare training plans.”

If you don't run marathons: “I'm more of a weekend-walk person, but I'm curious — what got you into running?”

Illustrative example.

Check the tone against the conversation

Playful can be great when both people are being playful. A sincere question deserves a sincere answer. Avoid turning an uncomfortable or serious moment into a flirty punchline.

Leave room for the other person

A reply is an invitation to continue, not a technique to get a particular response. Keep it respectful, don't pressure anyone, and accept a lack of interest.
