Flamer, Aragon or Photofeeler? Choose the right photo tool.

Need a new picture, or help choosing one? Those are different jobs.
If you already have recent photos, start by choosing the clearest, most representative one. A generator makes new images; a feedback service helps you choose between images you already have. A professional headshot package solves another problem again.

| Option | Useful for | Price & access | What to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flamer | AI dating portraits from your selfies; also includes chat reply ideas. | iPhone, iOS 17+. Free download with in-app purchases. US listing includes $7.99 monthly and $2.99 / $4.99 weekly products. Confirm the offer in the app. | Check likeness and artefacts before using a result. An attractive generated setting does not prove a real experience. |
| Aragon | A batch of professional headshots with attire and background choices. | Web. Observed headshot packages: Basic $35 / 40 images, Standard $45 / 60, Executive $75 / 100. Pricing page shows a temporary 20% promotion. | A corporate portrait may not be the mood you want for dating. Generated image count is not usable image count. |
| Photofeeler | Feedback from people on photos you already have, including a dating category. | Web. Earn a free test by voting on other photos, or buy credits for faster results. A credit price was not verified. | It evaluates impressions rather than generating a photo. Feedback does not establish how many matches you will get. |
When a new photo is unnecessary
A sharp, recent photo taken by a friend can already do the job. Before spending anything, try a tighter crop, remove duplicate shots, and put a clear face photo first. Keep at least one picture that shows something you actually enjoy doing. If the problem is uncertainty between two good pictures, feedback may help more than another generated batch.
How to judge a generated portrait
- Recognition: compare it beside a recent unedited photo. Look at the eyes, face shape, hairline and skin details.
- Believability: check hands, teeth, glasses and the background at full size.
- Representation: keep clothes and settings you feel comfortable presenting. Do not use a fabricated activity as evidence of your lifestyle.
- Usability: preview the dating app's crop. A good full-size image can lose its subject in a small profile frame.
Which is more effective?
We have not run a controlled comparison of these services. Published features support the choice of workflow, not a claim that one produces more matches. Count photos you would actually publish, rather than the number returned. If every output changes your face too much, the effective output is zero.
For a repeatable check, use our cost and quality worksheet. For input advice, read how to choose your selfies.
