Better AI dating photos start with your own selfies.
A dating photo should help someone recognise you when you meet. AI can give you a different setting or a more polished frame, but likeness matters more than a dramatic transformation.
Start with clear, recent selfies
Use photos where your face is easy to see. Soft daylight, a clean lens, and a camera around eye level make a useful starting point. Avoid sunglasses, heavy filters, group shots, and photos where your face is very small.
Flamer accepts 1–5 selfies. If you choose several, use photos of the same person with consistent, current appearance. A few clear references are more useful than a mixed collection of old and heavily edited pictures.
Make the result pass the recognition test
Look beyond the lighting. Check your face shape, eyes, hair, skin details, and proportions. Inspect teeth, hands, clothing, and the background for AI artefacts. If the result makes you look like a different person, choose another photo.
Use AI with a little care
Use only photos you have permission to upload. Check the rules of the dating app where you plan to use the result, and disclose AI editing where required. Avoid presenting a generated setting as proof of a trip, hobby, or experience you haven't had.
Try it in Flamer
Choose your selfies in the iPhone app, generate a photo, review the result, and save the one you like. Outputs vary; a generated photo cannot guarantee more matches.
